形態特徵

• Rhizome short, ascending, slender, subdensely tufted. Culms slender, 13-40 cm tall, 0.3-0.7 mm thick, trigonous, smooth.
• Leaves several, equalling or slightly overtopping culms, 2-3 mm wide; sheaths 2-4 cm long, pale.
• Spikes 2 to 4, all spaced; terminal spike staminate, linear to oblong, 1-3 cm long, 1.5-2.5 mm wide, pale-brownish; lateral spikes pistillate, oblong, 1-1.5 cm long, ca. 4 mm wide, bearing 5 to 10 flowers. Bracts leafy, sheathing, blades much longer than subtending spike.
• Pistillate glumes elliptic to obovate, 3.8-4 mm long, pale, finely veined toward base, rounded or shallowly emarginate at apex, minutely awned. Utricles erect-patent, longer than glume, rhomboid, triquetrous, 5-6 mm long, cuneate at both ends, pale green, slightly shiny, finely nerved or nearly nerveless except for two costas, sparsely hirsute to glabrescent; beak short, truncate to bidentate. Achenes tightly inclosed, obovate, ca. 2.5 mm long, triquetrous, with shallowly concave sides, cuneate at short-stipitate base, obtuse at apex; style slightly enlarged at base; stigmas 3.

• 台灣 : forest margin and grassy place at mid to high elevations.
• 世界 : Japan and Korea.
